Testimonies of Faith in the Christian Real Estate Network

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” ((Hebrews 11:6)

In this contemporary world, all businesses prioritize profits. According to experts, a business is nothing if it doesn’t prioritize productivity and profits as without these, a business will only be incurring costs; the only way it can attract investors and expand its operations is by making profits. However, there are many companies in the business world whose focus isn’t merely on profits; these companies that are shaped by Biblical principles are referred to as Christian businesses. And, if we had to use one to define these Christian-led businesses or how they operate, it’ll be the word “faith.” And, the same goes for the Christian real estate market.

If you are a Christian who’s pretty much involved in the real estate market, here is a story that will stir your spirit about stepping out on faith and trusting God.

How God Helped in Selling a House

Story From Chaton15:

Story From Chaton15“Several years ago my family had to move because my grandparents weren’t doing well. We moved from rental house to rental house, waiting for an offer on our house. We had financial support from my aunt and future church assembly, but it didn’t do anything regarding our house selling so we could finally move into a new one.

One morning, my dad woke up super early, and in a very good mood. He spent a lot of time praying, and ended up waking us all up by singing “I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus . . .” (go listen to it if you haven’t already! 😃💕💕💕) The joyful, spiritual mood spread through our family as a result, and even though we had to wake up at 5/6 in the morning to go to church, everyone was happy and content. 🙂

It continued on into the next day. My dad, still in a great mood, got a phone call from our real estate agent. She asked, “Are you sitting down?”

He answered after a pause, “Did a tree fall on my house?”

The reply: “Yep.”

My dad: (still being chill about it) “Was it that really big, old one in the back left?”

Real estate agent: “Yep.”

A giant tree, one so big that we couldn’t wrap our arms around the half of it, had collapsed onto our house, (right after we’d fixed it all up) smashing the newly redone deck and driveway. It didn’t shatter the whole house, but several large branches had crashed through the walls and ceiling, which resulted in many of the lights falling out. In every way, there was no way it could sell now.

Now you might be thinking, How the heck does this end well? No one in their right mind would buy a broken house.

And yet, within a couple days after our house had been taken off the market, our real estate agent got several panicked calls about its disappearance. “What happened to that house on Woodhaven? Did it sell?!”

Within ONE WEEK two offers were made on the house.

Of course, it had to be repaired and all, but the eventual buyers would end up renovating it anyway. Our old house now has a garage and two floors, and two bedrooms have been combined to make a bedroom suite. It is in perfect condition, and now the happy home of a new family. This is all because a giant tree was dropped on top of it.

Our God works in mysterious ways, that’s for sure! 😃😃😃😃😂😂💕💕💕💕”
