Chiang Mai is literally translated to “New City,” famous for digital nomads. It is one of the deeply religious areas of the island, but today it coexists with co-working spaces and cafes and is the perfect place to immigrate, especially if you like living in a peaceful and quiet area.

Chiang Mai is located in the north of Thailand and is surrounded by mountainous regions. What is life like there? It is more relaxed and slower than Bangkok or even Phuket. I would settle there because it’s peaceful and ideal for a yoga retreat if you ask me.

It is also the perfect place for adventurous people. Since mountains surround it, you have access to many outdoor activities here, and it’s the ideal place for an adventurous area. You can go hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting and even camping here.
